Check your current cleaner
Tell us who cleans your site. We'll check the Victorian register and text you the result.
Where host businesses get caught out
As the business engaging the cleaner, you're the host. The obligation to use a licensed provider sits with you, not the agency.
The licence must be current
A licence number printed on a website or invoice doesn't prove your provider is licensed today. Only the Labour Hire Authority's register does.
The business name must match
Check that the company named on your invoices and contract is the same licensed business shown on the register. Trading names often differ.
The risk sits with you
If you engage an unlicensed labour hire provider, penalties can exceed $660,000. It takes under a minute to check.
